The Hobby eStore is part of DG-RC eStores which is owned and run by the Parish family.
TERMS OF SALE
- All orders are subject to these terms of trade and conditions of sale. No conditions stipulated in a buyer order, letter or communication shall vary or cancel these terms of trade unless the vendor agrees the variances in writing and it is signed. A contract binding on the vendor arises only on the issue of the vendor’s written acceptance.
- Each item on an order shall constitute a separate contract.
- The vendor will hold and despatch the balance of an order that are out of stock as at the time of despatch unless we are instructed to the contrary at the time the order is placed.
- The vendor may allocate stock held to or against such customers and in such quantities, as it deems proper.
- We reserve the right to change our prices without prior notification and the prices charged will be those applicable at the date of despatch.
- The vendor does not operate a “Sale or Return” system and goods (other than defective goods – see below) will not be accepted by the vendor for return or credit.
- The vendor does not make or give any representation or warranty as to the availability for purchase of any item referred to in any catalogue, advertisement, price list or any other document of communication with or by the vendor.
- Payment for orders is due before despatch.
- Items marked as PRE ORDER can be purchased in advance of due dates. Payment for PRE ORDER items is taken at the checkout.
- The buyer of the goods will have them examined for damage and loss in transit upon receipt. Any claim must be made in writing within three days of receipt. No claim for shortage or defect will be entertained unless this procedure is adopted. Qualified delivery notes will not be accepted as written notice.
- No liability can be accepted by the vendor for damage in transit or short delivery unless advised in writing to the vendor within three days of receipt of goods or part thereof, or for loss in transit or non-delivery unless advised in writing to the vendor within 14 days of the invoice date.
RETURN OF GOODS
- We will not accept the return of any goods of faulty manufacture without written notification that must state the nature of the fault of each item and the invoice/order number relating to the purchase of each item.
- All transportation charges relating to the return of goods will be borne to the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- For nitro models once used only the engine and radio equipment is covered by a 90 days warranty from the date of sale. The warranty is void if damage has been caused by miss use, incorrect maintenance or incorrect set up. Broken con rods are not covered by the warranty.
- We will at our option replace whenever possible, goods found to be of faulty manufacture after examination. Items that are returned and found to be not faulty will incur a £15 testing and return fee which will be payable before the item is returned.
- We DO NOT accept plastic or wooden construction kits returned if part built or started. Any kits returned to us started well not receive a refund or exchange. We will not send the kit back to you either, unless we receive the return postage fees (First Class Signed for) which will be payable before the kit is returned.
- All air borne items (helicopters and planes) can not be returned once flown. There is no way of telling if damage is caused by a fault or the customers inability to fly the product (a crash). Please check the product thoroughly BEFORE attemping to fly and do all the usual flight checks. Once flown it can not be returned.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
All measurements, scales, voltages, listed in our catalogues, order forms, advertisements, web sites, or any other publication or communication from our company are approximate only and no warranty or condition is given of accuracy. Whilst our suppliers endeavour to ensure that models or representations will be accurate in detail.
WE RESPECT YOUR PRIVACY
We want to assure you that your personal information will never leave the confines of DG-RC eStores. We collect the information you give lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We store your name, address, telephone number and email address but will never pass those details on to any third parties.
We ask for your email address to let you know the goods your ordered are on their way, you will never receive any newsletter or junk email.
You will not receive regular mail or unsolicited phone calls as a result of using DG-RC eStores.
Personal information collected by us on any of the website owned by DG-RC eStores may be transferred and shared in the event of any of the sites being sold. Customers will be informed in advance should this happen.
SECURITY
We realise that some people are worried about using their credit cards on the internet. This is why we use a third party payment processor (PayPal) to collect payment. Payments are made off-site on PayPals industry standard setting servers, no card information is collected or stored by us.
